Mountain Bike Costa Rica
Rio Perdido in Guanacaste. When we first came to the San Bernardo Lowlands – to this rare and
quintessential dwarf forest – we were marveled. There we stood, atop a
raised peninsula, formed by two converging canyons, where the cool Rio
Blanco meets the hot waters of Rio Perdido and a third affluent, adding a
final touch of perfection, pours its waters over 100 feet into the
tepid convergence point.
A group of trail guides have crafted a 12-mile network of dedicated
bike trails that have been very well received by local and international
mountain biking authorities. These marked trails allow users to select levels of difficulty depending on your condition, so that both the beginner and the more avid cyclist has ample space to practice this exciting sport, through various landscapes from plains, dwarf forests, bridges, rocks, rivers and pastures. Currently visitors can enjoy our Bike Park with their own bikes. More information at Mountain Bike Costa Rica - web site
