Around 1992 we perceived the needs of assistance to travelers that departed from our nearby airport. Many were returning from the beaches in beachwear, sleeveless and without shoes, carrying with them their luggage and with a plane to catch soon, bound for places in which the temperature did not reach the 5 degrees C mark.

We are located in Alajuela, the second province in importance of Costa Rica, Alajuela is known as the "City of mangoes", and it is also where Juan Santamaria International Airport, Costa Rica’s main tourist gateway is located.  

Hotel Aeropuerto  offers you its 24 bedrooms, each room is design to bring you comfort while your staying in Costa Rica at a very near location to the International Airport at 5 minutes drive.

At Airport Hotel in Costa Rica all our bedrooms have the following facilities, air conditioning, cable TV, Queen size beds, telephone, coffee maker, hot water, tub and private bathrooms in each room and all of out rooms are also wall to wall carpet.

Also each and every room is nicely decorated in a typical Costa Rican style with classical typical windows and the walls are an imitation of antique adobe walls. We will make you feel at home
